use p5b deluxe? it's not a lga775 motherboard?
478 to 775 adapter.
It is, the two scores faster in the competition currently are also using LGA775 boards, they were just less obvious about it. There is an adapter for running s478 on them.
I see you got it working, grats on a good score
Its semi-working, the board always sees the CPU as new no matter what I do. It means that it cannot save any settings and the only adjustments that can be made from the default are the ones that can be done in Windows. Lots more room here, but the board IMC gets flaky around 600Mhz and I can't get the divider lower.
Ahh, thats some wierd error and sucks that you cant use bios..
Ill get some paint today or tomorrow, will be interesting to see if I can get some life out of the adapter in my Asus commando.
