CPU Frequency need a screenshot too?

December 15, 2014 at 3:28:46 AM UTC

What's the problem, ToDay?

December 20, 2014 at 3:40:20 PM UTC

When do we find out the spi 32M target time? Leaving in 3 days and won't be back home until after Jan 1st.

what do you mean under target score? will be any limitations like in XTU? or you have to do 6:00:00 min for example, lowest clock wins? or you have to do sub 6:00:00 min to enter the competition like target? or thats all secret :)

December 22, 2014 at 5:00:47 AM UTC

There will be a target score and the first to hit the exact score wins. Otherwise whoever is closest wins.

December 22, 2014 at 8:09:16 AM UTC

ahhh clear, thanks PJ, too bad i will be on holiday under stage 3 :( good luck all

December 23, 2014 at 1:51:37 PM UTC

i had same issues, now i cannot do retest with cpu bcoz valid is not enough, and during holidays no ln2, no time. wasted effort. good luck all anyway!

December 24, 2014 at 12:41:22 PM UTC

Sadly I will only enter for the lucky draw prices. I bought an SOC motherboard but with this holidays days motherboard did not arrived at time and I am running a "crappy" Z97M-D3H...

December 28, 2014 at 7:23:27 PM UTC

Why the 3rd stage is open already? Guideline says January 4th...

I do not get it...

455 seconds and 450 second are not almost 7 minutes and 50 seconds?

December 29, 2014 at 3:33:14 AM UTC

Oops! Shouldn't be open just yet.

The target score will be revealed 48h before the competition ends; the competition will be opened 24h before the competition ends.

The target score is within the range you find on the competition page.

December 29, 2014 at 7:11:35 AM UTC

455 seconds and 450 second are not almost 7 minutes and 50 seconds?

small hint, one minutes has 60 seconds :D - this takes your target between 7m30s and 7m 35 seconds if I calculated correctly^^

Hi sir

CPU clock need screenshot?,I was forgot, my screenshot only can 6610mhz, so many high cpu frequency can't capture.

my 6810mhz result :http://hwbot.org/submission/2714204

December 29, 2014 at 9:58:55 AM UTC

So the score will be released con January 3rd and not today?

No. Target score will be between 7.30m and 7.35m.

7min x 60sec = 420sec +30sec = 450sec

December 29, 2014 at 10:35:12 AM UTC

Thank you Massman for clearing this up. I do hope that the target is a very specific target down to the hundreds of seconds just to make it a real challenge.

And fgi my friend my money is on you to win. :)

December 29, 2014 at 11:43:30 AM UTC

Hang about - can someone please explain how suddenly some folks have screenshots in stage two submissions when they seemingly did not have any before? I now understand fgi why you tipped others to win and not yourself.

Would like official explanation how or why that is allowed.

I guess that you refer to Vivi, laoshu1919 and me...

Vivi enter to the stage around 1 hour before its close, laoshu1919 did the same around 30 minutes before I think. In my case, I uploaded the score 5 minutes before the stage close. Anyway, my score doesn't affect you but the others two...

Remember that sandbagging still exist...

December 29, 2014 at 4:37:17 PM UTC

my submission is removed ,no matter, just play it ! I quit the game, good luck for everyone !

Cheers mate :)

I just had a quick look at the submission dates and yeah I see that Vivi's entry was much later than mine, 29th according to the HWBOT submissions page. Even though the contest closed on the 28th.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Not problem ;)

Time zone is always a "problem", I uploaded my score at 3AM local time...

December 29, 2014 at 7:20:56 PM UTC

Stage 3 is open for submissions again.

December 30, 2014 at 7:11:28 AM UTC

So the score will be released con January 3rd and not today?

The stage is open during January 4 following the GMT+8 time-zone. The exact target is revealed 48 hours before the competition ends (so early January 3 GMT+8 timezone).

Thank you Massman for clearing this up. I do hope that the target is a very specific target down to the hundreds of seconds just to make it a real challenge.

Yes, a very specific target :).

December 30, 2014 at 7:12:01 AM UTC

Stage 3 is open for submissions again.

Hm, it says open but can't submit.

December 30, 2014 at 8:38:28 AM UTC

It was able to submit yesterday.

January 3, 2015 at 9:25:27 AM UTC

Is the wallpaper for stage 3 the same as the other two?

can only download the wallpaper on the Rules and Guidelines page.

other links ar not working.

ps: need to find some ms ;)

January 3, 2015 at 11:28:00 AM UTC

i need a few ms too . :)

January 3, 2015 at 2:19:19 PM UTC

I need to lose some, my best score is almost 150ms over the target score :(

January 3, 2015 at 4:33:48 PM UTC

In case of two or more people have the same difference in 3rd stage, who wins? 1st that submitted the score? Or you make a lucky draw?

January 3, 2015 at 4:58:58 PM UTC

First that submitted the score.

January 4, 2015 at 3:44:47 AM UTC

:)

January 4, 2015 at 4:00:06 PM UTC

last minute again. :)

Congrats Vivi.

January 4, 2015 at 4:01:55 PM UTC

Congrats to the winner, good time Alan_Alberino in Stage 3. Congrats.

January 4, 2015 at 4:09:37 PM UTC

crazy stuff guys, that 32m was crazy hard lol. i had to down my freq on loop 24 to get 891. was luck. great job FGI and albertino. FGI you made me panic haha

January 4, 2015 at 4:12:59 PM UTC

Yes, that 32M was crazy and hard I worked almost 24 hours on it and I can not get a much better time than uploaded here.

The good thing is, that I learn some very good things while I was tweaking the OS and settings for get a better time.

January 4, 2015 at 4:14:41 PM UTC

Thanks Vivi and saint19! Congrats to Vivi for the 1st place and FGI for 2nd place! And also to Achill3uS, HiVizMan and topdog, winners of Z97X-SOC Force LN2 motherboards!

Hope the mods verify the scores soon and confirm the winners.

January 4, 2015 at 4:19:14 PM UTC

If I am right, you also win a Force LN2 board Alan, is the winner of each stage. The "problem" would choose the winner of stage 2 since Vivi won stage 1 and 2, I guess that motherboard will go to 2nd place in that stage.

January 4, 2015 at 4:23:36 PM UTC

hahaha

I really try to reach target all day, but have no luck. :)

Alan_Alberino beat me. :)

By the way I change frequency few time in single run to reach around target score.

January 4, 2015 at 4:28:53 PM UTC

Rules say "If an overall challenge winner is also a stage 1st place winner, the stage prize will go to the stage next best performance."

Vivi and I are overall challenge winners, so price go to the next best performance on all stages.

January 4, 2015 at 4:34:24 PM UTC

Maybe, I would think than that rule just apply to the 1st place in general....maybe I am wrong.

January 4, 2015 at 4:38:48 PM UTC

No Vivi is overall challenge winner. You are stage winner.

So I will receive mainbord may be. Yeeeee

January 4, 2015 at 4:39:57 PM UTC

I was mean.

Overall challenge winner is Vivi, so, motherboards in stage 1 and 2 goes for 2nd place in that stage while Alan get the last one for win the stage 3.

January 4, 2015 at 4:45:01 PM UTC

congrats to all.and have fun whit the prize

January 4, 2015 at 5:06:17 PM UTC

It says "an overall winner" like it were more than one. Lets see what Massman or the organization people says, it would be great to win U$S 400 + a Z97X-SOC Force LN2 but I dont think it is possible :(

January 4, 2015 at 5:27:03 PM UTC

Congrats everyone

I really enjoyed the 32m stage, managed to hit 7m33.890 about eight times but couldn't nail .888

Good luck in the draw

January 4, 2015 at 5:30:58 PM UTC

Yeah, it was a very hard stage, I got 885, 886, 890, and then I put run and went to take a shower, and when I went back to my room it said 889 and I couldnt believe it :P

January 4, 2015 at 6:39:43 PM UTC

My first event, Learned so much. Thanks too all Congrats to winners!

January 4, 2015 at 7:35:24 PM UTC

WOW Alan you got that close to target so many times!

i got 875 3 times, made me very frustrated. Yes i think how the prizes work is top 3 gets money and no mobo, then the next top scorer gets the mobo

January 4, 2015 at 7:49:46 PM UTC

Yeah, but after the final score that I submited, all scores were +30ms of dif with the target... Here a photo that I took for Facebook of my second closest score:

If first that submitted the score, have advantage. I must have 18pts, topdog-16pts, Vivi-12pts and pho5ph0ric-14pts.

January 5, 2015 at 3:00:23 PM UTC

We will have to wait to know, with CES 2015 going on, mods probably have their heads on other things, but its understandable :D

January 5, 2015 at 11:19:58 PM UTC

I damage my socket pin by accident

I couldn't try to run stage 3 :(

January 10, 2015 at 7:23:48 PM UTC

Any news about scores verification?

January 10, 2015 at 10:47:42 PM UTC
