I am unable to submit my score

What is the error ?

Is ln2 or s/s allowed for this comp?

I have done a submit for the XTU stage. As I noticed the ranking is done on a per core score, I had done my run with only 2 cores. Surely the per core score would be calculated on the cores used, not the full processor count.

Will I have the same problem if I run hwbot prime and the calculation ends up on 12 core count instead of 2.

The score is always calculated based on the default amount of cores. So for a quad core, that would be 4 cores.

so that means there is no changing this then?

Not without a lot of backend coding work

That's the second one to go on there with ln2

So from the next rumbles, we should enforce cooling.

(or actually, this should resolve itself once we update our "overclocker type" feature. LN2 will automatically become "extreme" and not "rookie")

So a solution is coming

Now just make XTU total score based and not per core and tighten this comp up.

Hwbot prime - less cores

Spi1m - all out speed

It's like if you don't have a 4770k, your handicapped.

if we have a quad core can we change are cores and threads to 1 to run hwbotprime? or is that not allowed

It won't help because your hwbot per core score will still be based on 4 cores, not 1. That has been my problem with a hexa core otherwise I'd have a 2000+ per core score. Same thing goes in XTU.

Finally getting somewhere with ram sticking 2800c9. Now just need to sort out multi drop during HWbot Prime runs. Grrrrr

Congrats on the win Soorena, some really strong runs there. This is a great comp, interesting to see others settings for their times too.

My ram was holding me back on my 1m run

I have enjoyed the 2 rumble competitions even if i did not win :-) Taking those 3 benchmarks are a really good way to learn about OC and your own machine. I wanted my system to be as fast as it could in its Corsair 900D, with the watercooling I have in the case. I could see there was more to give but only with external cooling solutions. between the first roundup and the second one I took part in the main difference for me was that I delidded the CPU but as I only had the GC-extreme TIM i could not get the full effect yet :-) have ordered the Liquid metal and will redo the delidding shortly.

I enjoyed this as my first comp. Pitty my 4930k I couldn't keep up with all the haswells out there. Especially with XTU.

Looking forward to trying for another.

1M run was about the only thing I could keep up with haswells on with my 4820k

The new pentium G3258 will be the chip to have for HWBot Prime........
