Old School is Best School Season 2 Round 5

Old School is Best School is a team competition series for the overclockers who enjoy tuning ancient hardware. The series includes five rounds with each two stages. Each round lasts one month, so you have plenty of time to track down all hardware.

In the fifth round of the Old School is Best School competition series, we compete in 3DMark05 and CPU Percentage Overclock. In the first stage, 3DMark05, the hardware is limited to Socket 754 processors and Radeon X800 series graphics cards. In the second stage, CPU Percentage OC, the hardware is limited to Socket 754 processors. For both stages a system picture is required. For Stage 1 you also need a validation screenshot, for Stage 2 is a validation link required. Good luck!

Hello oc'ers.

I'm having a question regarding the GPU limitation. It says that you may only use X800 cards. Is that meant in the way that you can only use cards like the X800Pro or X800XT? Or can you just use every card that falls within the Ati X8xx series? So that the X850 series are also allowed to use?

Both X800 XT PE AGP and X850 XT PCI-E are ready. Performance is pretty much the same... now the question is which MB will push the mobile A64 http://hw-museum.cz/view-cpu.php?cpuID=205 further - NF3 or NF4. :)
