Old School is Best School Season 4 Bonus Round
Welcome to the Old school is Best School Season 4, a contest series created specifically for overclockers that enjoy old, classic hardware and benchmarks. Each month-long round features three to 4 stages, each with unique hardware and benchmarks
In the bonus round of the Old School is Best School contest overclockers are invited to revisit Socket 370 from 1999 using only Mendocino core CPUs. Motherboards are restricted to non-Intel chipset boards. Benchmarks include Wprime 1024M in Stage 1, Wprime 32M in Stage 2 and Cinebench 2003 in Stage 3. Verification screenshots and system pictures are required for each stage.

[/quote] Why the moderators do not track the beginning of each round and in a timely manner do not create a discussion with a description, a wallpaper, etc. I needed a wallpaper since there was a little LN2 and it was necessary to get basic results.The admin page went down for some reason and I cant update / edit anything. I hope Frederik will fix this soon.
This Bonus Round is aimed at running dual Mendocino's on Non-Intel chipset motherboards.
You can use native socket370 boards or Slot-1 boards with adapters.

Quick look at the submissions, all good.
Added the Biostar M6VCG which was Jurin using to the db. In future- please drop a message in support section!
And somehow we have the MSI 694D / MS-6321 duplicated in the db.

For information: I'm checked different cpu combinations on SS and LN2 with boot at 100 and 133 mhz fsb. Checked different windows vertions but none of these combinations work. Only 1 time I managed to get into windows with two 433mhz celerons and 100mhz fsb. I also did a wprime 32 and when I started doing wprime 1024 he freaked at 3000 sec(((( this combination work fine only at divider fsb/pci=2. Need pll modification but i'm not found similar one.
Will the Total result be performed and the final winner will be announced for the sum of all rounds?
Mmmm.........I see a screenshot that's no good, but it doesn't matter. If you're good with it, so am I.
Thanks Mr.Paco, I also could boot dual Mendocino on Abit VP6, but system was not stable at 400MHz and higher clocks (no matter what default CPU Speed).
Interested in this. I could not boot dual Mendocino's at all in my VP6. I'm pretty sure Kotori could not either.

I have some mod at my Cuv4x-d. But not boot mendocino anyway. ))))
