HWBOT Team Cup 2017 - SC2: GPU 3D

Welcome to the HWBOT Team Cup 2017. With four subcategory contests, twenty four unique stages and a target submission count of sixty four, this is without doubt the biggest, most exciting and dramatic team overclocking contest on the planet.

Running from July 1st to September 30th, the HWBOT Team Cup will once again pit the world’s best overclocking teams against each other in an effort to answer one massive question - which group of overclockers represents the most talented, best organized and dedicated overclocking team of the year? The contest spans virtually all hardware classes with a comprehensive mix of 2D, 3D, mobile and retro stages to look forward to. A place in overclocking folklore awaits the winners.

General Rules

  • General and benchmark specific hwbot rules apply
  • Desktop hardware only (no server parts) unless explicitly allowed at stage rules
  • No ES, no unreleased hardware
  • One bencher can only contribute once for each stage
  • For the stages that require several results, different CPUs / GPUs / MEM types are needed (example: LGA1150 cpu bench with three results needs 4790, 4770K, 4690, if three different benchers submit three results with 4770k only one will count to the ranking)

Clarification on LGA2066 CPUs: since the Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X (up to 10c) were officially available before the start of the competition, they are allowed. Higher core count Skylake-X processors are not allowed.

Update: X299 and X399 platforms are not allowed

Each sub-competition consists of 6 stages. Check the stages for specific rules.

All overclockers who participate in the HWBOT Team Cup 2017 will be entered into a prize draw. The lucky winners will each receive a Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut 5.5g kit.

Are the 1000 series TX Pascal and TXp allowed where "1000" series cards are permitted?

No, the 1000 series contains only the cards with this name, otherwise I think it would be Pascal

What about a 850m video card, that doesn't count as Geforce 8 Series right?

We talk about G80/G92 which is 10 years old - not Maxwell(GTX850) because it is not Geforce 8
