Welcome to the HWBOT Team Cup 2017. With four subcategory contests, twenty four unique stages and a target submission count of sixty four, this is without doubt the biggest, most exciting and dramatic team overclocking contest on the planet.

Running from July 1st to September 30th, the HWBOT Team Cup will once again pit the world’s best overclocking teams against each other in an effort to answer one massive question - which group of overclockers represents the most talented, best organized and dedicated overclocking team of the year? The contest spans virtually all hardware classes with a comprehensive mix of 2D, 3D, mobile and retro stages to look forward to. A place in overclocking folklore awaits the winners.

General Rules

  • General and benchmark specific hwbot rules apply
  • Desktop hardware only (no server parts) unless explicitly allowed at stage rules
  • No ES, no unreleased hardware
  • One bencher can only contribute once for each stage
  • For the stages that require several results, different CPUs / GPUs / MEM types are needed (example: LGA1150 cpu bench with three results needs 4790, 4770K, 4690, if three different benchers submit three results with 4770k only one will count to the ranking)

Clarification on LGA2066 CPUs: since the Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X (up to 10c) were officially available before the start of the competition, they are allowed. Higher core count Skylake-X processors are not allowed.

Update: X299 and X399 platforms are not allowed

Sub-competitions

It says am2 cpu, does that mean a cpu that's specifically meant for am2 socket or just using the am2 socket? Cause there are am2 athlon 64s that will also run in an am2+ board just fine, and there are am2+ or am3 phenom II that run in an am2 socket just fine.

Restrictions always refer to cpu used, so am2 cpu is mandatory
