Great result SniperOZ! Can you share LN2 bios for this Strix Gaming OC version?
Thanks mate,
I used the ref RX480 LN2 BIOS which worked fine. and used elmor's eVc for voltage.... I didn't check if gpu tweak it worked its possible it would have.
card ran fine at 1760 core and was still showing signs of going further... but I ran out of LN2.
also be a where that I had a hot burning smell at high volts
.... which is why I had the slim pot over the vrm area.... (not sure if it was vrm or chokes) but it helped.
good luck!
Thanks for detailed answer!
Sorry mate for asking you again
But is it this BIOS: http://forum.hwbot.org/showpost.php?p=453534&postcount=11 ?
I try it, but it's not suitable for Strix Gaming OC
yes thats the one......its all i could use to get past cold slow at 0C......worked fine really....i wasn't expecting it to work but it did.
What's the 3rd pot for? I'm confused
lol...... to reduce the hot burning smell ?
