For sure, the issue I had was the CPU has a cold bug relating to the IO die (I think), so the higher the mem speed the worse the cold bug was, dropping to 7200MHz gave me another 30c to play with over 7800MHz so for this particular bench that was just about faster with the slower mem. Just need a sample with a better IO die :)
