You should tell what do you want. BSEL mod, VID mod, or just a program to overclock? :)

And what are you trying to do that it doesn't work.

March 15, 2010 at 5:05:39 PM UTC

ta mate, got a good efficiency I think, but not the clocks to compete with the big boys... lacking 400mhz lol

March 16, 2010 at 10:27:08 AM UTC

I'm fairly new to overclocking, but I saw this banner for the S478 challenge.

It says use the Intel Northwood S478 architecture.

Now I have here a Celeron D processor, according to this site it has an Prescott core. So it is S478 architecture but I can't compete with this one. I am correct??

March 16, 2010 at 10:35:32 AM UTC

no, only pentium 4 with "northwood" core are allowed. :)

March 16, 2010 at 11:01:34 AM UTC

no, only pentium 4 with "northwood" core are allowed. :)

Thanx for clearifying. Then I will continue with my own PII overclock experience

March 20, 2010 at 11:42:11 AM UTC

I hope a new S478 mobo :P

March 20, 2010 at 11:31:56 PM UTC

Nothing I didn't expect :D

It was the first day of the competition that I said that he will jump closer to the end leaving competitors behind with a nice gap.

Thx for the heads up guys but... the Italian/french guys got the better clockspeeds... can't make up for them 80-100Mhz, I'll aim for top 3... I hate this backup game... post a score and get raped 5 secs later... :D

I think validate checksum is important for the rule
