I love these type of comps, but they require you to start right on the button and within a couple of hours, the score usually falls.

I tried to edit the score but the image won't refresh Here it is:

And here's how i did it:

I did some pre-testing the day before (thats the first three rows of scores) to get an idea how does my setup score at different clocks. I also did some repeatability testing (how much can the score vary if ran time and time again on same clocks) not shown here. I sat down slamming F5 until the target score appeared, and it took me eight runs, 5 of them at the same clocks, to hit the spot. Also the Dimmu Borgir tweak helped

Seriously, I just got the score with my OC 6850 and Phenom ii x4 965 and I find out I can't submit!

closed, ended on 20 Feb! it is feb 20th, when did it close, and the next one doesn't start till tomorrow. Wonder if my machine will even be able to hit the next spec. I really stretched it on this, I had the card OC to 1015mhz and the mem at 1100, CPU was OC to 3800(pretty unstable above that even though it is a cool 53°C). But this MSI 6850 can OC like a champ.

ok, just found out,

version 1.0.2 have 2 decimals 1.0.4b and 1.0.3 have 3 !

edit: i hit 1111,13 in 1.0.2 but this version is no longer supported

Moreover 1.0.3 and 1.0.4b are not working with my system (5770 + Phenom 550 + 890GX) in win7,vista. I will try also in XP but i am very dissapointed

Yes i agree that has flaws but the competition is not about the top score, only about a specific score, thus whatever flaw is not spoiling the outcome

We completely discontinued support for V1.0.2 ... because of those major flaws.

Stage 3 ; rules

- The winner of each stage is the person who hits the target score first

"louislkw has been holding the throne for 13 hours! louislkw has to hold it 4 days longer win this stage."

Yet I saw yesterday that 'Diabolique' was the first one to hit the target score, meaning by the rules he would be the winner of the stage... however, on the stage tab itself it says that you must hold out your score for 4 days.

Both Diabolique and louislkw have the same score, and Diabolique was the first to do so, so why would louislkw be holding the throne? I'm very confused by the point system as well.

And what are the times for stage 4? Apparently its 0:00 CET, but someone here said it was 18:00 CET.

Sorry that I'm confused, I joined this forum to get a chance to win that gorgeous 6850, but frankly, the rules aren't clarified well enough in my opinion. That, or I haven't read something.

doenst matter at all. the first who hits the target is the winner, but when more than one person hits it, the system doesnt know who was first and shows the winners mixed.

to win the board and graphic card u have to be first to hit the target in the stage. in stage 3 it was diabolique (but only i wasn able to save a varification link. i did hit the target 1h before him.... dammit).

to win the 6970 lightning u only have to hit the target in one of the stages. if u hit it in all 4 stages u are 4 times in the pool.

I just found out about this yesterday, so I'm too late for stages 1-3.. but I have been looking at stage 4.

My first time actually using benchmarking software and wasting hours on end modifying core speed =) God damn, I could use another Cyclone.. go easy on me <3

im now benching around 18 hours, but only get 13578 or 13580... its absolutly frustrating

the points doenst matter at all. its because most of the competitions are to get as many points as possible.

this one is a little bit more specific

as i said before: if u WIN one stage (hit the target FIRST) its guaranteed to get the 6850 and the mainboard, not the 6970.

for the 6970 u have to hit the target in one of the stages at any time (so in 7 days). doenst matter how u placed.

You need luck too, and alot of it!

the electricity bill will be lower than normal, because all of the hardware is extremly underclocked

980x @ 2400mhz and 1V (stock is 4200mhz @ 1,3V for me )

5870 @ 525/800 and 1V (stock is 850/1200 @ 1,1v)

The truth is hard to get that number on the vantage think my system is not stable enough (OC VGA and micro unlocked with OC) I have a lot of dispersion.

What would that be in EST (Eastern Time Zone [uS])?

that varies. the first stage started @ 1 am (CET), second stage between 4 and 6 am (CET) and third stage 3pm (CET).

EST is -7 hours i think.

On monday at 18:00 CET (Italy Germany France). make the calculations

u dont have to overclock but to underclock for most of the scores.

isn that difficult at all, but takes some time.

I looked the stage3 page around 12(cet) and it said that 5hours left, then I got the 13579 marks on vantage(at 12:43 cet) and I was doing submission, but then the stage was closed

btw 1028.99 DX11 Marks with HD5870 almost hopeless, 1055/1370 and less than 900marks...
