5 years ago – New WR, shaved a couple of second with less CPU frequency vs previous submission, but not happy with the OS, results are too random at at every restart, still a big work in progress and too far from sub 6, my personal goal. So now back to basics and I'll retry again soon.

Awesome run, this clock could hit 6min or less

Nice, keep pushing it!

Nice one. I have no backups so congrats.

With your clocks, I feel sun 6m should be doable for sure.

I can push to 5840 the CPU and maybe the memory a bit more, but what really bother me is the OS, there's something I miss, i tried every tweak I know plus experimenting new ones, I'm at the 3rd complete OS mod and testing at water/cascade, I can't improve much, probably I shaved another second, but before going LN2 again I want to see another big improvement, at 4GHz now I can't go below 8m32s, and I saw much better scores around. I'm waiting a Trex for the multicore benchmarks, in the meantime I will keep smashing my head around this :D

Why are you cropping your screenshots?

It may seems weird, but I post the result also on instagram and twitter, so I prepare the screens in a format that I can use everywhere, no problem to share the original full screen if you want, there's no top-secret things in it :D

p.s.: in fact I don't even use waza, and this was made with a non-stripped Win 7 Sp1 with only some services stopped, I kinds suck on OS tweaks, I spend most of the time on the motherboard settings and memory timings to squeeze every MHz possible, that's probably why I'm still far from the sub 6 with this high frequencies in the 32M.

u can add 4 GHz result here and maybe find few tips https://community.hwbot.org/topic/165864-zen-superpi-32m-5g4g-challenge/?page=4

Thanks a lot for the tip, but I read that thread like 5 times and I'm still at 8m32s as best score now (around 8m35s when I did this result), the efficiency unfortunately is dropping with frequency and I need to be able to lower at 8m22s at least if I want to do the sub 6, I don't think now I can do much with the hardware, I tried every CAS from C10.10 to 12.12, plus all the sub timings combinations and this 11.10 is still the best one. But I'm stubborn as hell and one day I will succeed :D

Don’t worry. It’s a board related issue that holds back efficiency I believe. Yet to test for myself.

The fast guys efficiency guys are running on Gigabyte and Asrock. Asrock lacks in memory, and Gigabyte lacks in cold volts causing CB issues. It’s eother just the memory setup on the Crosshairs, otherwise they know something we don’t and neither of them will share.

Do a run at 4.2g. I was 4m14 to 4m17s without Waza. I never tested at 4g, takes too long and I don’t have time for that.

Best luck woth with your sub 6m. With your cpu I know I’d be there by now.

What do you mean by 4m14 to 4m17s ? 8m14 to 8m17s ?

Sorry. Yes. 8m times
