Yah, but not clocking well. Have had the worst luck with 980X CPU's. 3rd one and its also 5GHz~5.2GHz CPU. We need to get seeded form somewhere else in SA other than Turkey. We consistanly get the worst samples this side of the galaxy. But yeah I'll try increase that score maybe 27K despite the CPU

I am sure you did something wrong! Every GT (imo) must do at least 5.5 in Vantage.

For now i will stick to the cheaper systems. Well despite the "bad" clocks these chips still produce better scores than high clocking 975's in every bench. With the 980 on air pulling about a 42k CPU score you can focus on GPU clocks. Have you done the Vmod on the card or is that running at 1.35v?

It's running 1.35V. IF you know where I can find the Vmod for the card let me know. I looked at the mod for 5870 SOC but that's just a nightmare.

@ Hollywood, don't be so sure hey trust me there in Germany you probably get great samples and even the bad ones are 5.5GHz Vantage. However there are some really tragic 980Xs out there, my very first one was 5.1GHz max 06 and less than 5GHz Vantage. Thought it was my pot, tried 3 different ones, 3 different boards, same result. Sup3rfly also has a dud 5.4GHz 06 only CPU, I think it's way less in Vantage as well
