Thanks chew*. I think the chip may do 7GHz in another MB? I do own a GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 that I may test the 955 in next. I don’t own a UD7 though if that’s what it takes to reach 7GHz although I did check NewEgg today but they were out of stock.

Anyway I’m all ears to any suggestions you may be will to share my friend.
