 – Only one of my Dominator PC2-8888C4 sticks is working =( Will have to try again in dual channel.

That's a heck of a CPU right there, can't believe you to got the HTT up there so high. I remember hitting a wall around 330.

On air this CPU walled around 360HTT. Under LN2 I was able to hit around 445HTT but the CPU was only stable through wPrime 32M at a maximum speed of around 6050MHz. I still need to test again in dual channel as I fear I am losing some efficiency in running single channel.

As far as I remember memory doesn't play much role in wprime, if I were you I'd try to drop the CPUNB down to about 2000-3000 and also drop it's voltage to see if you can gain CPU frequency. Dual Channel will be faster but it likely won't be much.

I don't know exact behavior with Corsair SPD, but max HTT is usually better if you flash your mems with SPD from some TeamGroup or Crucial modules ;)

single/dual channel doesn't have any affect on efficency, you're losing more because of Vista - try WinXP with Luna theme with VGA drivers :)

Thanks for the tips Sam. I wasn't HTT walled, more like the core was walled regardless of volts at around 6050MHz. I'll be retrying after CES with two sticks of D9GMH and a proper XP installation. I didn't use XP as I happened to have Windows Vista installed on that drive and decided to give it a go :D
