I began programming for a major bank over 50 years ago on an IBM 1401 (wired boards) then an IBM 360-65 (punch cards) with 4k ram that took up 3,000 sqft using Assembler Language then Fortran. I became an industrial designer where I designed the packaging for the IBM PC AT and owned SN:0000015. Wrote design evaluation and accounting SW for it, which developed into a rudimentary CAD system. I now do product development using mainly Solidworks for the last 20 yrs. With all of the computer languages that have been birthed over the last 3 decades, I gave up trying to keep up, although I have always built my own computers and now can't keep up with what is available there. Too many bells and whistles! I am new to this arena, but find it rewarding.
