Yes, good Sir. Hell yes!

September 13, 2011 at 1:27:14 PM UTC

Congrats for the record! Keep going AMD! :)

"Cooling: Standard Stock Cooling"

Yeah right :P

September 13, 2011 at 1:27:50 PM UTC

- -230.0 (load) -235.0 (idle). It means LHe?

September 13, 2011 at 1:28:25 PM UTC

WTF !!!!!!

September 13, 2011 at 1:32:22 PM UTC

LOL, cedarmills are oficially dead ... thanks macci for stopping me from further waste of my money :D

September 13, 2011 at 1:36:58 PM UTC

Holy mother of god! AWSOME!

How much do these chips hit with LN2 ?

Probably close to 8, but not far over.

But ... remember Deneb B2. If AMD does the same with Bulldozer, we'll see this stuff on LN2 for sure :D

September 13, 2011 at 1:41:19 PM UTC

Congrats, really didn't expect that Bulldozer goes >8.4 GHz even before launch. When we look back at the Phenom II launch the clock frequency record back then with LHe was beaten by LN2 users later. So I'm really excited about the scores we will see when Bulldozer is finally available. (2D/3D-stable is different from CPU-Z, so that will be interesting, too ;))

September 13, 2011 at 1:41:31 PM UTC

Wow.. Sick!

September 13, 2011 at 1:41:36 PM UTC

Very nice! Still looking forward to actually being able to buy these... :P

September 13, 2011 at 2:10:12 PM UTC

OMG WHAT???!!

September 13, 2011 at 2:11:03 PM UTC

Wow, that's epicness right there. Wonder how it stands up so sandy clock for clock though? were all 8 cores enabled?

September 13, 2011 at 2:11:48 PM UTC

WTH! Impressive

September 13, 2011 at 2:21:42 PM UTC

Looking good, for CPU-Z at least!

September 13, 2011 at 2:25:38 PM UTC

8ghz they did on LN2 in the video! then +400mhz with helium

and lol at the helium pipe pop

September 13, 2011 at 2:36:28 PM UTC

:o wow! fking awsome work!

September 13, 2011 at 2:41:22 PM UTC

Denebs did 6400 on LHe before launch, then topped out at 7378 on LN2 after process and stepping improvement. If it's of any indication we'll see 9+ GHz :)

September 13, 2011 at 2:48:43 PM UTC

Wow awesome Work,AMD is the Hammer:)

September 13, 2011 at 3:02:38 PM UTC

Nice score none the less... Think Sam still has no#1 untill launch of the product tbh :-)

September 13, 2011 at 5:38:44 PM UTC

Insane work!

September 13, 2011 at 5:39:03 PM UTC

That second video gave me a bit of wood!... :D

This is just F'n amazing; and on "non-final" units nonetheless; just imagine what the Rev3 units will be capable of... I see 9+ submissions in the near future for sure.

And now we just wait and hope efficiency is at, or at least near that of SB. :D

September 13, 2011 at 5:50:59 PM UTC

@TaPaKaH The odds were stacked against you my friend, but we want to make it right. Contact me and you will have your chance once again...on top of a BULLDOZER. We pay our dues.

September 13, 2011 at 5:52:06 PM UTC

great work! Like FX more now :)

September 13, 2011 at 5:53:25 PM UTC

wth , nice one AMD finally u make it macci, love to see AMD back in action one more time again, time to trash all intel cpus i hope

September 13, 2011 at 5:54:36 PM UTC

AMD going netburst :P

Congratz AMD for the CPUz record...hope the "real" benchmark-scores will be also that high ;)

01 on AMD anyone?! Massman you place a bet this time?

September 13, 2011 at 5:57:27 PM UTC

A very nice surprise !! Well done Macci and team... Let's hope we see similar +7.5Ghz clocks under 2 and 3D... CPU-Z has never been my cup of tea...

Chris you tease !! leave the MM alone... he's still recovering from 1156...

September 13, 2011 at 6:00:10 PM UTC

i can see 6500 BD vantage cpu there witch is not bad at all if 8 cores (i think it is)

September 13, 2011 at 6:05:21 PM UTC

"RAM Speed : 906.4 MHz (3:10) @ 2-16-2-22" bwahahahaha

September 13, 2011 at 6:07:20 PM UTC

awsome !

FX rocks !

September 13, 2011 at 6:07:36 PM UTC

:D

Based on this and this I conlude scaling is linear (1.385x performance for 1.4x clock). With 8gig cpuz on ln2, maybe 7.65gig 01. Assuming similar IPC, that makes 136k. Maybe 130k.

Now, based on this and this, we see no gain between 9800GX2 and GTX580. So 136K.

My official guess is: "no, I will not guess this time" :D

September 13, 2011 at 6:13:38 PM UTC

Congrats! Awesome clock!

September 13, 2011 at 6:20:41 PM UTC

I'm just gonna comment once again cause I still can't believe that! Damn! Come to think I was never a huge AMD fun :D

Excellent work guys :)

September 13, 2011 at 7:15:18 PM UTC

om,,,g

September 13, 2011 at 7:19:31 PM UTC

just pooped my self

September 13, 2011 at 7:21:10 PM UTC

Even if an FX8150 needs to go 6.5Ghz to compete with 5.8Ghz 2600K in 3Ds...it still better considering how easy to find 58X 2600K:)

September 13, 2011 at 7:31:31 PM UTC

Oh amazing...! nothing left to say!

September 13, 2011 at 7:53:15 PM UTC

Hell of a nais score, how much will this cpu cost when it comes out? might just buy it ;)

September 13, 2011 at 8:06:20 PM UTC

All that I can say is.... AWESOME :o

September 13, 2011 at 9:02:07 PM UTC

I was on hwbot for a few hours and than that!! thats no joke yeah ? extreme nice job, macci and amd! AMD finally nailed it, nice to see that those cpus have no cb.

Any possibility of getting some superpi results there?

thx for sharing

September 13, 2011 at 9:08:23 PM UTC

by the way - massman did you get a golden clock or why is that score rewarded with points in the "normal" oc league...I think macci needs to be moved to "extreme oc" league where ES-hardware is allowed ;)

September 13, 2011 at 9:56:41 PM UTC

if we started talking about "hwbot rules" - I don't think that unreleased hardware is allowed for points, no matter who's the bencher (OC or Pro PC) ... or am I wrong ? ... or who cares? :D

September 13, 2011 at 10:19:42 PM UTC

Points are enabled to get the score on the frontpage. Macci already said he'd disable points for this when the score is no longer on the frontpage (after 24h).

No need to ring the corruption bell (again) :D

FWIW - about the points. Technically, if AMD says the hardware is 'released', anyone can have points for it. HWBOT does not give points to hardware that is under NDA. The hardware vendor decides whether or not hardware is under NDA.

September 13, 2011 at 10:30:27 PM UTC

newspost on the frontpage isn't noticable? :D
