its absolut max :-) chipset fsb limit
try tusl2-c
Nice score! Love the mounting setup, gonna steal that ;)
I have TUSL or CUSL or 20 other boards but no VMod on them. This is only pre-test. No I will jump on Celerons and Coppermines where no FSB limit.
Thanks, yep cost me xx hours to get all informations and build this.
Use to have the same kind of setup with a stupidly thin piece of plywood, gonna look if I can find a picture!
Sure? This would be quite a bad one, tried different GPU or Sata Adapter for HDD?
yea, try mx400 and ssd with sata adapter
need more drama for socket 370?
I tried several RAMs (4:3:1) and VGAs with same results. Almost all CPUs ended +/- 210 fsb.
Now Iam editing YT video about this setup. Thanks to all for tips, yeah HDD can be changed too. Next session is Cel-Tul with FSB 100 = cant get limit on chipset/HDD :-) Will get other limits I guess. I can return to P3EB anytime, winter is long :-)
It isn't bottlenecking even @235 1:1 3-3-2-7/9. In order of priority, I would blame RAM (if 1:1), CPU, AGP, IDE (with adaptor), clockgen and then NB itself. Most limits can be checked with 2:3 (IDE/AGP), 4:3 (CPU) and 133:133 (RAM) straps.
Nice score and very good job! I am a fan of your collection on youtube, I am like you for Belgium ^^ However not yet attacking socket 370 but it will happen soon I have everything I need to wait for my Cascade to arrive, for the moment my SS is too small. Well done again, I will try on TUSL2-C and also try my hand at vmod.
Thanks. Now I have few kinds of SATA adapters on the way so will try different HDDs SATA or SSD if ST6 will like them. Also I found some short cables, SATA too from 3cm to 10cm, they came from some tiny PC systems.
good luck!
