These modules are the first 2/4 from the quad 2400c8 RipZ kit and only needed 2.15v for 2800c6, see how the others do next.

Did those sticks ever do 2800c6 SP32M? That's impressively low volt, likely has scaling to 2933+

Nice, it was getting boring on top. So what should be next 5775c with ln2 PSC or 7600k + whatever ram runs on shitty D3 mobo?

What year is it?

These sticks never ran 2800 before but I remember they had a low boot voltage limit so even 2.20v failed to train. Setting 2.15v they trained super consistently at 2800 but failed to train 2933 and didn't spend much time trying higher after that.

How about 7600K + LN2 PSC + D3 mobo 😎

Have you tried those sticks on air? What's the scaling when going from air to LN2 @2.1-ish volts? Curious to see what comes next, but 9 secs will fall sooner or later :D

slow clap :)

Air these can run 2750c8 tuco tight at 1.92v > to 2800c6 tight on LN2 at 2.15v

The best PSC in my collection I believe is still the 2000c6 Pi but will find out soon ;)

Thanks, much appreciated. It seems that I'd have to go through whatever leftovers I can get online, I checked a few kits for volts and found two capable of 2760 8-13-8 but at around 2.05 air, funny thing is I always thought PSC hard walls at 1.96 on air. That's still far from 1.92 :)

Didn't your 2400c8 need <2v for 2600c7 as well? iirc this is a better indicator of tCL quality.

I think the only time I tried 2600 c7 twcl 7 was with my 2000 c7 Flares iirc and they needed 1.96v or so with a window unit blasting cold air on them.

Under normal ambient conditions, as in like 20-25°c without a window unit chilling them, this would be considered extremely strong. Like 2666 8-12-8 <1.8v strong.

My 2000c6 Pi + 2000c9 Ripjaws reference kit did 2600 7-12-7-26-76 tCWL 6 at around 2.08v, though they also did 2750 8-12-8-28-84 tCWL 6 around 1.92v. All at ~20°c ambient temps.

I remember those modules they were Allen's rejects he sent to Vince, crazy they have been around the world a few times now lol

Juiced up today, found hardware to actually mount pot to heat spreaders and installed 2000c6 pi's see where they end up this weekend 🤞

some rejects they are lmao, I guess they never fully got tested properly

If you want to try these on cold, I'm happy to send them over. I think they might be decent candidates for 2800 6-9-6, considering high tRCD limit and pretty good scaling.
