Are legal unlocked semprons??
?
Hmm...ok, I go slit my wrist now..Ah Pieter Jan I hate you so much =))
This should be clearly stated in the stage rules, since in general it does comply to HWB rules, so many people may get this wrong.
The limitation is single core, which is something we stored in the database. So, you will not be able to use a Phenom II X4 or Core i7 and disable cores.
I've added the clarification that you cannot unlock cores.
Thank you Pieter.
This is a nice stage, pure skilled involved, and a little bit of luck in finding a good CPU. The best part, CPU's for this round cost ~25-30 Euros, so everybody can join. Great!
This one I may join:) If you've got a nice, non-FSB-walled Celly you'll beat any AMD CPU, but I hope sub 40s should be easy on a few of the chips I've got here.
This would be a blast to see, most of the Cedars didn't get bellowe 40s afaik. However, with this competition we might see some scores unheard of before, exactly from CPU's like this one!
Native... that means is has to PHYSICALLY be a SINGLEcore? So a dual core with a disabled core - unlockable or not - is not allowed..? If so, that would disqualify Sempron 140, Conroe-L and any AM2 singlecore.
...or am I way off here?
i think it's time to get my fx57 from s7e9h3n out.
No way yo get under 39 with that old thing
:P:P
Uju! It's fair for me.
At some point I hope I'll be able to prove you wrong:p
Well, I hope that too, that is why I said that, to motivate you
I have some plans... the FX57 isn included in those:p
Need 3.93GHz or so for the magic sub-39s. I remember I ran it at 3773 on dryice without pushing it, but the last time I tried it I could barely hit 4ghz. However, some FX53 I tried just after hit a wall at 3760 or so, and when I fooled around with it a couple of weeks ago on a different board I could get 3900 easily.
Maybe the same "bug" affected that FX57;)
I've added the "HT must be disabled" to be sure :-).
@Massman:
what about Multi-CPU Setups?
(e.g. 4 separate singlecores)
Not allowed
Guys, older scores with older WPrime versions are allowed? I mean, if they are allready submitted to HWB?
no, I think - ATM 1.55 is only allowed
