Surprisingly low voltage for D9GMH at those clocks. These ICs scale almost linear with voltage so 790@3.04 means 600@~2.30 or lower which very few kits out there would actually do (even 4-9-9 and suicide).

the stick that went cold, did ok at 3v on air...amazing durability too.

 

I tried my kingston 9200 @2.35v

 

when i ripped the heatsink off, i found elpida chips

 

it couldn't take 3v on air lol

 

so back goes the ballistix
